Hanwha Vision's high-performance flagship line — 4K imaging, extreme dynamic range, and the strongest on-camera AI, for the scenes that demand the best.

The X series is where Hanwha puts its best imaging and intelligence. When a scene is critical — and when budget allows for the top tier — the X series is the answer.

Imaging credentials

X series cameras deliver 4K resolution, eXtreme Wide Dynamic Range for scenes with severe light contrast, and 100% lens distortion correction so straight lines stay straight to the edges of the frame. On the second-generation X cameras, that imaging runs on the Wisenet 9 SoC with its dual-NPU design, pairing flagship pictures with flagship analytics.

On-camera AI

The X series leads Hanwha's on-camera intelligence: AI-based object detection and classification (people, vehicles, faces, license plates) and attribute extraction, with greater control over AI functions than lower tiers. Because the analysis happens in the camera, the system flags meaningful events at the edge — reducing the load on recorders and operators and enabling fast, accurate search downstream.

Where it fits

The X series belongs on the scenes that justify it: building entrances and lobbies, perimeters, parking and LPR lanes, cash-handling areas, and any location where you need to identify rather than merely observe. It's the camera you specify when a missed or unusable image has real consequences.

Why it matters

Resolution alone doesn't make a useful image — dynamic range, distortion correction, and edge AI do. The X series combines all four, which is why it's the default choice for the highest-stakes positions in a design even when the rest of the site runs Q or A series.
