Virtual Keypad is DMP's end-user app, and it's the everyday face of any DMP system PDI installs. It mirrors the panel's keypad in the customer's pocket and layers on the notifications and video that make a monitored system genuinely useful.
Control and awareness
Users arm and disarm from anywhere and see system state at a glance. Notifications are unusually granular: a customer chooses to receive push alerts for alarms, troubles, and arm/disarm events, and — when the dealer enables it — sensor-activity notifications from up to 50 specific zones. That zone-level awareness lets a business owner know, for example, when a specific door or stockroom is opened, without drowning in noise.
Video and automation
The app surfaces connected DMP video and supports Z-Wave automation through compatible panels, so lighting, locks, and other devices live alongside security control. For multi-location operators, Virtual Keypad presents multiple systems in one account.
Why it matters
App engagement is the strongest predictor of a long-lived account. Customers who use Virtual Keypad to arm remotely, check a notification, or pull a clip are customers who perceive ongoing value — which protects PDI's recurring monthly revenue and reduces churn.
