DMP Access Control & Cellular Communicators

Two capabilities turn a DMP intrusion panel into a complete commercial security platform: integrated access control and reliable cellular communication. DMP builds both into the same ecosystem rather than bolting on third-party hardware.

Integrated access control

Because access control is native to the XR Series, doors are programmed and monitored in the same panel as intrusion. Hardware includes the 734 and 734N door access modules and the 7073 integrated reader/keypad, with MyAccess user management through the app. The result is a unified system: one platform arms the building, controls who comes through which door on what schedule, and reports it all to the same monitoring and app environment — no separate access server to maintain.

Cellular communicators

DMP has moved from dialer-based to network-and-cellular communication, and the cellular path is where monitoring reliability lives. The 263LTE-2 communicator supports dual-SIM operation across both Verizon and AT&T, and a dealer can activate one carrier or both. If remote connectivity is unavailable, carriers can be switched directly in the panel's diagnostics menu. Dual-carrier flexibility means a site in a weak-coverage area for one network can fall back to another — a meaningful advantage for rural and challenging-RF locations.

Why it matters

For a commercial customer, "always connected" and "one system for alarms and doors" are exactly the requirements that separate a professional install from a consumer kit. DMP's native access and dual-carrier cellular let PDI deliver both without integration risk.
